Frequently Asked Questions

What is a wedding dog chaperone?

A wedding dog chaperone provides dedicated, professional care for your dog on your wedding day. I ensure your dog is calm, safe, and happy, and included in your wedding where appropriate without adding stress to you, your guests, or your venue.

Do you travel across Scotland?

Yes - travel fees may apply depending on distance.

Will you look after more than one dog?

Yes  I can care for multiple dogs from the same household, provided they are comfortable together.

Do you board dogs in your own home?

No. I do not offer boarding in my own home. Any overnight or extended care takes place only at the couple’s home or their chosen accommodation.

Are you insured?

Yes. I hold £5 million public liability insurance, including care, custody and control, and pet transport.

Can you walk my dog down the aisle?

Absolutely — where venue rules allow and your dog is comfortable doing so.

What happens after the ceremony?

Depending on your chosen package, your dog can return home, enjoy a walk and rest break, stay for photographs, or receive full or half day care.

What if my dog gets stressed on the day?

Your dog’s welfare always comes first. If they show signs of stress or discomfort, I will calmly remove them from the event and ensure they are safe, settled, and comfortable.
